Wedding stationery workshop

All of our luxury stationery is handmade to order in our very own stationery workshop. We do not outsource any of our work, everything is done by us, in-house.

Our quaint little workshop, nestled on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon is where our brides and grooms ideas come to life. We have all the kit and equipment needed to make truly bespoke, handmade luxury wedding stationery.

We don’t believe in mass production, we believe in putting care, effort and love into every single piece of stationery we make. Rest assured that your wedding stationery has been completely hand made from raw materials and manually hand pressed on vintage presses.

Our Presses

adana letterpress

The now iconic Adana Eight-Five letterpress was launched in 1953, filling a gap between the High Speed Number 2 and the High Speed Number 3. The name was taken from the dimensions of its chase interior (type area), 8 x 5 in.

Our Adana Eight-Five is an early 1960’s vintage vertical platen letter press. She is capable of producing beautifully precise lettering on the 8×5 inch print area in a range of fonts, sizes and colours.

We have over 15 types of fonts to suit a range of stationery styles with more on the way.

It was April 1956 when the Adana 5 x 3 letterpress was unveiled.  The machine replaced the H/S1 (High Speed 1) machine with it’s tiny 3″ x 2″ chase.  This new machine was supplied with a small interior chase of 2¼” x 4¼” which allowed more adventurous work to be undertaken than on the H/S1.

Our Adana Five-Three is an early 1950’s vintage letterpress and mainly used for printing on smaller items such as place cards. She is capable of vintage printing with stunning results.

We have over 15 sets of fonts and type for this press with more on the way, we can match fonts used on the eight-five press to ensure continuity.
